Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. This role is a mix of account management and new business development, requiring a strategic thinker with exceptional relationship-building skills, strong sales acumen, and a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities.

As a key driver of business growth, the Sales Manager will be responsible for strengthening existing client relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and expanding our market presence. This role involves routine visits to our manufacturing plants to gain insights into our processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure seamless alignment between client expectations and operational capabilities. The candidate must also be willing to travel based on client locations, ensuring a strong on-ground presence to foster long-term partnerships and business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

1. Account Management
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing their needs, resolving issues, and ensuring seamless coordination with internal teams.
• Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess their evolving needs and propose customized solutions
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products and services to maximize revenue from existing accounts.
• Work closely with operations, production, and design teams to ensure timely execution and delivery of client projects.
• Ensure all client activities, transactions, and updates are accurately recorded in the CRM system.

2. Business Development
• Identify and engage potential clients through networking, industry events, cold outreach, and referrals.
• Develop and execute targeted lead generation strategies to expand the client base.
• Conduct market research to analyze competitor activities, industry trends, and emerging opportunities.
• Prepare and present business proposals, product pitches, and pricing strategies to prospective clients.
• Negotiate contracts and terms to secure new business while ensuring profitability.
• Track and report sales performance, market trends, and business development efforts to senior management.

3. Strategic Planning
• Develop and implement business development strategies that align with the company's growth objectives.
• Identify and prioritize key target markets for expansion, both geographically and sector-wise.
• Work closely with the leadership team to set quarterly and annual sales targets, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Analyze market conditions and customer behavior to adapt sales strategies accordingly.

4. Cross-Selling & Expansion
• Conduct thorough competitor analysis to identify market gaps and differentiate our offerings.
• Work with the marketing team to research similar products, identifying customer pain points and refining product offerings.
• Proactively identify and develop new service offerings that complement existing solutions and meet evolving customer demands.
• Recommend bundled product offerings to enhance customer retention and revenue growth.

5. Performance Analysis & Reporting
• Track and analyze business development performance metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance, client engagement, challenges, and opportunities.
• Assess the effectiveness of sales campaigns and outreach strategies, making data-driven adjustments where necessary.
• Utilize tools and analytics software to gain insights into client behavior, sales cycles, and conversion rates.
