Job Description – Stock Market EdTech Sales Executive
About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and target-driven *Sales Executive* to join our Stock Market EdTech team. The candidate will be responsible for connecting with prospective learners, understanding their interest in stock market education, explaining our courses and programs, and converting qualified leads into enrollments.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication and sales skills, an interest in financial markets, and the ability to build trust with customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Contact prospective students through inbound and outbound calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
• Understand the learner's requirements, goals, and level of stock market knowledge.
• Explain stock market courses, trading programs, mentorships, and other educational offerings.
• Conduct product/course presentations and effectively communicate course benefits.
• Follow up consistently with leads and convert prospects into paid enrollments.
• Handle customer objections related to pricing, course content, duration, credibility, and other concerns.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales and revenue targets.
• Maintain accurate lead and follow-up records in the CRM.
• Build strong relationships with prospective students and provide a smooth enrollment experience.
• Coordinate with the counseling, academic, and customer-success teams when required.
• Stay updated about the company's courses, educational offerings, and general stock market concepts.
• Continuously work on improving lead conversion and sales performance.
Requirements
• Graduate in any discipline.
• 0–3 years of experience in sales, telesales, inside sales, counseling, or business development.
• Experience in *EdTech, financial education, stock market, fintech, or investment-related sales* is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong convincing, negotiation, objection-handling, and follow-up abilities.
• Target-oriented and self-motivated.
• Basic understanding of stock markets, equity, mutual funds, trading, and investment concepts.
• Comfortable speaking with customers over the phone and explaining financial education products in simple language.
• Basic knowledge of CRM tools, MS Office/Google Workspace, and WhatsApp.
Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of technical analysis, fundamental analysis, trading, or investing.
• Prior experience selling stock market courses or financial products.
• Strong lead-conversion and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to confidently handle sales objections.
• Passion for sales and interest in financial markets.
