ABOUT THE ROLE
1+ year Bachelor's degree Nano Instruments is expanding its sales presence in Eastern India and is looking for a Sales Engineer / Business Development Executive to cover the Bihar and West Bengal territory. You will be responsible for building a healthy customer pipeline for our dairy instrumentation products, arranging product demos, meeting assigned targets and working closely with our field and technical teams. This is a customer-facing field role with regular visits across the assigned territory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES — ENRICHING BUSINESS GROWTH
● Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of customers. ● Arrange product demos for customers and meet them as and when required. ● Work towards the assigned sales target to support company growth. ● Identify customer pain areas and provide the necessary support to resolve them. ● Work together with Field Engineers to resolve customer-related issues. ● Carry out competitor analysis, prepare reports on existing vendor lists, and study opportunities for Nano Set-off Box requirements. ● Maintain healthy, long-term relationships with customers. ● Work together with the technical team to enrich existing products and support new product development.
REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
● Strong communication and presentation skills; confident in meeting customers and conducting product demos. ● Ability to understand a technical product and explain it clearly in simple terms to customers. ● Target-oriented, with good negotiation and follow-up discipline. ● Comfortable with regular field travel across Bihar, West Bengal and the assigned territory. ● Working knowledge of MS Office / CRM for quotations, vendor reports and pipeline tracking. ● Languages: Hindi essential; Bengali a strong advantage for the West Bengal territory; good English required. ● Valid driving licence; own two-wheeler preferred.
ELIGIBILITY
● Qualification: Any Bachelor's degree — B.E. / B.Tech, B.Sc., B.Com, BBA or equivalent. An MBA in Marketing / Sales is an added advantage. ● Experience: Minimum 1 year in sales, business development or technical sales. Experience in dairy, instrumentation, industrial equipment or B2B products is an advantage. ● Candidates based in Bihar or West Bengal, and willing to travel across the assigned territory.
WHAT WE OFFER
● Salary of ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month plus incentives — the final package will be decided based on your experience and interview performance. ● Travel and communication expenses as per company policy. ● Statutory benefits as applicable (PF / ESI) — [confirm as per company policy]. ● Full product and application training on Nano Instruments' dairy solutions. ● A clear growth path into senior sales and territory management roles as the region expands.
