Job Description
Title : Sales Designer
Reports to : Team Manager
Based at : Wednesbury
Hours of work : Up to 40 Hours per week/Store Rota/5 out of 7 days
We are pleased to announce that, with the opening of our new location this summer in The Fort, Birmingham, the below position is available
Job Purpose:
To deliver sales results through effective customer interaction.
Providing the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.
To create accurate bedroom designs to meet the client’s vision and requirements.
To support your colleagues within a store environment and interact with other departments to a high standard
Key Responsibilities & accountabilities:
· Dealing with customers in the showroom.
· Design a plan that meets the requirements and needs of the customer.
· To accurately and effectively measure a customer’s room to allow a good level of service from start to finish. Full training will be given.
· To meet sales targets set out by your manager.
· Provide a professional service to the customer both at store level and in their own home.
· To effectively manage your time and diary.
· Be available to work some evenings and weekends due to the nature of the business.
Personal skills :
· A positive, can do approach and quest for continual improvement.
· Personable with excellent listening and communication skills.
· Be self motivated and results driven.
· Good at paying attention to detail and accuracy.
· Be professional, presentable and approachable.
· Have a desire and passion to achieve in the role
Essential/Desirable Skills:
· Retail/hospitality experience
· An effective communicator
· Good numeracy and IT skills
· Sales focussed and results driven
· Good time management
· Hold a full uk driving licence. ( preferable due to the nature of the job )
· Strong attention to detail
Training provided :
· Full training will be given on our CAD software Cabinetvision Solid 5
· Bedroom designing best practice and procedures to deliver outstanding quality bedroom designs.
· Starplan own ERP/POS software and CRM diary management software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £27,000.00 per year
Additional pay:
• Bonus scheme
• Commission pay
Licence/Certification:
• Driving Licence (required)
