Your role requires you to accurately process register transactions for the sale or return of merchandise
Showcase Westlake Ace Hardware in a positive light
Offer greetings to individuals as they enter the store and maintain a courteous attitude towards them as they browse
If feasible, use their names to express gratitude as they exit the establishment
Show a friendly and extroverted approach; foster strong relationships with customers and peers
Quickly and smoothly move customers through the checkout process
Respond promptly and courteously to all calls and pages
Highlight a matter or problem that calls for assistance from management
Regularly enhance your understanding of the product lineup and have the capacity to support customers with store layout and product localization
Support with pricing strategies, stocking procedures, marking products, and bagging merchandise
Carry out all cash register transactions in accordance with the designated protocols
Tasked with maintaining the accuracy of the register drawer
Ensure implementation of any Store Support Center program or promotion at the cash registers as required
Play an active role in store and cashier briefings
Keep the front end, including checkout areas and entrance doors neat and clean at all times
Face and dust front end
Help maintain the organization and presentation of impulse counters by restocking items and introducing new products to match seasonal shifts
Maintain a steady rotation of fresh ads within shopping carts
Maintain a continual stock of necessary forms and supplies
Offer support in enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the front end as per the Store Support Center program
Summon assistance for collecting carts when required
Notify management when it is necessary to restock returned items
Handle all additional tasks given
