Sales Automation Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Sales & Marketing Automation Specialist to design, implement, and optimize end-to-end revenue automation across CRM, lead management, and sales funnels. This role focuses on launching fast, improving conversion efficiency, and enabling sales teams through automation, reporting, and actionable insights. Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Funnel Design
Audit lead sources, sales processes, and funnel performance
Define buyer journeys, MQL/SQL criteria, and automation touchpoints
Align sales and marketing teams on funnel stages and KPIs
CRM & Automation Implementation
Configure CRM systems (pipelines, fields, workflows, permissions)
Implement lead capture, routing, and assignment automation
Build pipeline automation, task triggers, and SLA reminders
Ensure clean data flow between marketing and sales systems
Lead Nurturing & Sales Enablement
Design and deploy lead nurturing workflows
Create automated follow-ups using email, WhatsApp, or SMS
Develop sales templates, sequences, and enablement assets
Implement lead segmentation and prioritization logic
Reporting & Optimization
Build dashboards for pipeline, conversion, and performance tracking
Monitor automation effectiveness and conversion metrics
Test, troubleshoot, and optimize workflows
Documentation on processes and workflows

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years' experience in sales, marketing, or revenue automation
Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot or similar)
Strong understanding of sales funnels, lead qualification, and lifecycle stages
Experience building workflows, automation rules, and dashboards
Ability to translate business goals into automation logic
Preferred
Experience with email marketing, WhatsApp/SMS automation
Understanding of RevOps (Revenue Operations) or sales enablement frameworks
Minimum knowledge of APIs, integrations, or Zapier/Make
Enterprise or fast-scaling environment experience
