Job Description
We are looking for motivated, hard-working individuals to join our lumber, hardware, and lawn and garden team. Successful associates are team-oriented, helpful, professional, and eager to provide the excellent customer service. Prior experience with home projects and knowledge in outdoor power equipment preferred but not required.
Responsibilities and Duties
Daily
Provide excellent customer service by engaging customers on-site, and by being courteous on the phone.
Actively learn about products and home projects to better assist customers with their general inquiries.
Accurately replenish merchandise on the sales floor.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by tidying up work areas.
Bi-Weekly to Monthly
Participate in trainings.
Other duties as assigned by department leads and managers.
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
Reliable mode of transportation to and from work.
Self-motivated with minimal needs for supervision.
Able to efficiently multi-task and prioritize duties.
Strong communication and people skills both internally among team members, and externally with customers and vendors.
Physical Requirements:
Climb short ladders.
Stand/walk for 8-10 hours.
Hourly wage: DOE
