Sales Associate

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Associate to join our team in a grocery store setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with their needs
Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
Assist in restocking shelves and monitoring inventory levels
Utilize phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries
Supervise and train new employees as needed
Promote and sell products to customers
Requirements

Proficiency in basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
Experience with POS systems and cash registers is preferred
Strong communication skills with fluency in English; bilingual proficiency is a plus
Previous retail sales experience is advantageous
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Knowledge of grocery store operations is beneficial
