Sales Administrator and Account Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Sales Administrator and Account Manager to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing sales processes, maintaining client relationships, and supporting administrative functions to ensure smooth operations. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong IT proficiency, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. This is a paid position suitable for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a passion for customer service and sales support.
The role will mainly be dealing with Sports Clubs across the England and the South of Scotland and some local businesses.
Responsibilities
Work alongside Local Sales Representative to manage accounts and process orders.
Manage and update customer information using CRM software to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Assist in preparing sales proposals, presentations, and reports using Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
Coordinate sales activities, including order processing, invoicing, and follow-up with clients via Microsoft Outlook
Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries and resolving issues effectively
Support the sales team with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and organising documentation
Utilise Sage accounting software for invoicing, billing, and financial record keeping
Analyse sales data in Microsoft Excel to identify trends and opportunities for growth
Maintain organised records of client interactions, sales pipelines, and contractual agreements
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency
Attend meetings with Key Accounts to assist the Sales Representative. There will be meetings required at Night during weekdays but time back will be factored in for this.
Requirements
Proven experience in sales administration or a similar administrative role
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and computer literacy in general
Experience with CRM software systems is highly desirable
Familiarity with Sage or other accounting software is advantageous
Demonstrated IT skills with the ability to adapt to new programmes quickly
Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously
Customer service orientation with a professional approach to client interactions
Administrative experience that showcases attention to detail and organisational capabilities
Ideally an interest in Sport would be good as it is mainly dealing with Sports people, however this is not essential.

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
