Details: This is an exciting opportunity to work with in the ACT Emergency Services Agency (ESA) at the ESA Training Centre as a member of the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Team.

The RTO Quality Coordinator is responsible for supporting ESA Emergency Services in the design, development and continuous improvement of nationally accredited training programs.

The role leads the coordination of ongoing product validation in line with the ESA RTO validation schedule and relevant VET regulatory requirements. It also drives the quality assurance of accredited training materials by providing expert technical and compliance advice to internal ESA stakeholders, ensuring training products remain current, compliant and aligned with organisational capability needs.

The successful applicant will be a highly motivated member of the team and able to multi-task in a fast pace environment. They will coordinate and support the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and plans to efficiently manage validation and compliance requirements against the Standards for RTOs 2025. They will actively engage in range of situations, problem-solving and managing complex processes.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher qualification is highly desirable.
Experience working in the VET environment is highly desirable.
Driver’s licence Class C is essential.

To be eligible for permanent or temporary employment within the ACT Public Service (ACTPS) you must be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident or hold a valid work visa.
If an officer no longer holds a visa that permits them to work in Australia, their employment with the ACT Public Service (ACTPS) will be terminated.

Note: An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
