Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Accommodation Faculty / Room Division Faculty (Front Office / Housekeeping) to deliver high-quality theoretical and practical training in hotel operations. The ideal candidate should have strong industry experience, a passion for teaching, and the ability to mentor students for successful careers in the hospitality sector.
This role involves classroom teaching, practical demonstrations, student mentoring, and academic coordination to ensure comprehensive learning in accommodation operations and guest service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver lectures and practical sessions in Front Office and Housekeeping operations, including reception, reservations, concierge, guest relations, telephone handling, housekeeping procedures, and accommodation services
• Train students on hotel PMS software, front office documentation, room management systems, and standard operating procedures
• Demonstrate housekeeping operations such as cleaning standards, room inspection, linen & laundry management, and safety procedures
• Design, update, and implement course content aligned with hospitality industry trends and academic standards
• Supervise practical labs and simulations, ensuring discipline, grooming standards, hygiene, and service quality
• Mentor students on communication skills, grooming, etiquette, guest handling, and career readiness
• Evaluate student performance through assignments, role plays, presentations, practical exams, and written assessments
• Organize guest lectures, workshops, hotel visits, and skill-based competitions to enhance industry exposure
• Collaborate with academic coordinators and faculty members to maintain curriculum quality and learning outcomes
• Support placement activities by preparing students for interviews, internships, and industry expectations
Qualifications & Experience
Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality Administration (Bachelors or Masters preferred)
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in hotel accommodation operations (Front Office / Housekeeping) and hospitality education
• Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience is highly desirable
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• In-depth knowledge of hotel operations, guest service standards, and hospitality terminology
Preferred Skills
Hands-on experience with PMS software (Opera or similar systems)
• Strong understanding of customer service excellence and complaint handling
• Knowledge of housekeeping standards, room hygiene, and safety protocols
• Ability to manage and engage diverse student groups
• Proficiency in MS Office and digital teaching tools
• Knowledge of grooming standards, professional etiquette, and soft skills training
• Familiarity with current hospitality trends and global service practices
