Conveniently located off Highway 416, just 20 minutes from downtown Ottawa. Our hotel features an assortment of 102 guestrooms, sunlight conference rooms, fitness centre, indoor pool and complimentary breakfast for guests to enjoy!
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our guest rooms and public areas. This position is essential in ensuring a pleasant and welcoming environment for our guests, contributing to their overall experience at our hotel.
Duties
Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a tidy appearance.
Vacuum carpets and clean floors in guest rooms and hallways.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products as needed.
Follow established procedures for handling lost and found items.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the hotel.
Experience
Previous experience in custodial or industrial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Familiarity with hospitality standards within a hotel environment is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements
Availability to work mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends.
Able to work independently or in a team.
Able to move and walk continuously during work hours.
Capability to complete repetitive tasks.
Ability to lift 25-30 kg.
Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
