Duties
Assist roofers with the installation and repair of roofing materials using hand tools and power tools
Prepare job sites by cleaning and organizing materials, ensuring safety protocols are followed
Carry and position roofing components such as shingles, metal panels, or membrane sheets
Use schematics and blueprints to help with layout and material placement
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely across construction sites
Support with framing, trim carpentry, caulking, and other related tasks as needed
Maintain a clean work environment by disposing of debris and securing tools at the end of each shift
Requirements
Prior construction site experience or hands-on work in roofing or related trades preferred
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings is a plus
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and safety equipment
Physically capable of heavy lifting and performing strenuous tasks throughout the day
Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, or masonry is advantageous
Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards
Valid driver’s license preferred; reliable transportation is a plus
