Robotics Engineer – Hardware
Company Overview
Andromeida Maritime Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is a maritime robotics company developing Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs), Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs), Autonomous Surface Vehicles (ASVs), and advanced marine robotic systems for inspection, research, monitoring and industrial applications.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Robotics Engineer – Hardware to design, develop, integrate and validate the electronic and electromechanical systems used in autonomous robotic platforms.
You will work closely with software, mechanical, autonomy and manufacturing teams to build reliable underwater robotic products.
Key Responsibilities
• Design robotic electronics architecture and embedded hardware.
• Develop electronic circuits, schematics and PCB designs.
• Work with STM32, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson and embedded controllers.
• Design power distribution systems, battery management and propulsion electronics.
• Integrate sensors, actuators and communication modules.
• Develop wiring harnesses, connectors and electronic enclosures.
• Perform hardware bring-up, debugging and validation.
• Conduct laboratory testing, environmental testing and field trials.
• Coordinate with manufacturing partners and component vendors.
• Support product deployment and commissioning.
Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
• Experience in PCB design using Altium, KiCad, OrCAD or similar tools.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and microcontrollers.
• Familiarity with UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet and RS-485.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters and debugging tools.
• Experience with power electronics, motors, ESCs and battery systems.
• Understanding of EMI/EMC, grounding and signal integrity.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with underwater robotics, AUVs, ROVs or ASVs.
• Experience with subsea electronics and waterproof systems.
• Familiarity with Pixhawk, ArduPilot, PX4, NVIDIA Jetson or Raspberry Pi.
• Knowledge of sonar, DVL, depth sensors and underwater communication systems.
Qualifications
• BE/BTech or ME/MTech in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Instrumentation or related disciplines.
• 1–2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Previous hands-on experience developing, integrating or testing robotic systems is mandatory.
• Experience in underwater or maritime robotics is preferred.
Work Arrangement
• Full-time position.
