About The Role

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you’ll be working full-time (we are also open to part-time and bank applicants) within one of our Acute/PICU Adult Wards. Our facility provides a wide range of inpatient mental health services for men and women, including specialist deaf services and CAMHS provision for adolescents.

The facility is equipped with modern amenities, including private bedrooms with en-suite facilities, a gym, therapy garden, occupational therapy kitchen, laundry, and woodland walkways leading to a nearby reservoir—creating a tranquil environment to support both service users and staff.

Your Day-to-Day
• Produce outstanding written reports based on nursing assessments and observations
• Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, and improve quality
• Attend training and engage in CPD to further your knowledge and promote professional development
• Ensure individual care plans are complete and maintained in collaboration with residents, relatives, and other healthcare professionals, under NMC guidelines
• Administer medicines following healthcare procedures and guidelines from the Healthcare Commission

About You

We’re looking for an experienced RMN/RNLD with a current or upcoming NMC PIN who has:

Essential:
• Strong ability to maintain documentation, undertake audits, and demonstrate integrity in your role
• A good understanding of the latest nursing practices
• A commitment to patient recovery, effectively monitoring, managing, and reducing risk
• Compassion, resilience, and a dedication to empowering and supporting service user independence

Desirable:
• The ability to deputise in a clinical lead role
• An interest in leadership, research, and assessment
