About the role
As Revenue Collection and Recoveries Coordinator you will be part of Council's Finance Branch and responsible for the coordination and leadership of the Revenue Collection and Recoveries team. Your main focus will be on the collection of overdue Council rates and charges through a proactive approach and with high level of customer focus.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Lead the day-to-day activities of your team with a focus on the collection of rates and charges, including arrears management
Develop the skills of your team through supportive feedback and coaching
Oversee sundry debtor and property search functions
Deliver a high level of customer service
Contribute to ongoing policy development related to revenue and revenue collection

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
A passion for delivering a high level of customer service
Significant knowledge of local government rating, revenue collection and arrears management
Experience with team leadership in large organisational environment
A supportive approach to individual and team development through feedback and coaching
Collaborative communication and feedback to assist the development of other council teams
