Full Time permanent role with 7 days extra leave

We are looking for a detail-focused Revenue & Billing Officer to join our Finance team and support accurate billing, Medicare claiming, account reconciliation and revenue processing for Home and Community Services.
This role is ideal for an experienced billing, accounts or finance professional who enjoys working with systems, solving account queries and supporting a purpose-led organisation.
Day to day this role will see you:
Complete monthly client billing, brokerage billing and direct debits
Review, lodge and reconcile Medicare claims and payment statements
Process admissions, discharges, leave, refunds and exit payments
Maintain accurate client records and billing information
Work with Operations, Regional Care Advisors and Finance to resolve account queries
To be successful in this role you’ll need:
2–3 years’ experience in aged care, billing, accounts or finance support
Accounting Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and confidence working with systems and online portals
Experience with Alaya Care and D365 and Medicare Online Claiming would be highly regarded
Good written and verbal communication skills including telephone
A customer-focused, collaborative and organised approach
Team player essential in team of 5
