As a Revenue Advisor you will be required to operate with independence and cooperation in a team environment to deliver client or stakeholder needs. You will apply sound judgment, analysis, decision making, and technical writing skills on a range of interpretation and practice issues relating to taxation, royalty, penalty debt, grants and revenue administration. You will prepare and issue rulings and provide advice to both internal and external clients.
Your typical day as Revenue Advisor may include:
- Undertaking research and providing advice on how legislation administered by QRO operates.
- Assisting senior staff liaise with QRO's business areas to provide practical solutions for operational issues that may arise.
- Settling corporate reconstruction ruling or private ruling for an external stakeholder.
- Reviewing proposed updates to QRO's website and approved forms to ensure legislative compliance.
