This position plays a pivotal role in our financial operations, overseeing revenue accounting and ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of ASC 606 concepts and hands-on experience working in a SOX environment.
The successful incumbent will engage in thorough analysis of contractual documentation, work closely with external auditors, and facilitate the automation of current processes. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• A Certified Accountant or Public Accountant (CA/CPA) with 5-8 years of experience working with corporate accounting teams.
• Big Four experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
• The ability to read and interpret legal documents, summarize key points comprehensively, and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Strong leadership skills, capable of managing a team of professionals and handling special projects with initiative and a proactive attitude.
