The Accounting Manager will report to the Senior Accounting Manager and will provide support to the Revenue team by managing the local team and supporting daily activities and month-end tasks. This role will collaborate with the Global Revenue Accounting Leaders to execute their strategies and ensure consistency in Toast’s global accounting processes. We are looking for candidates with an accounting or finance degree and management experience working for a publicly traded company.About this roll* (Responsibilities)Support the global Revenue team by managing the local accounting team performing daily accounting operations including month-end close responsibilitiesEstablish team goals and conduct performance reviews of accounting team membersBe the key point of contact for transferring responsibilities to the local accounting teamPerform various month-end tasks including approving journal entries, reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, and completing ad-hoc assignmentsResolve open reconciliation items and escalated issues in a timely mannerRun monthly and quarterly financial reports within NetSuite, Salesforce, and RevProInternal control and SOX testingCollaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure data integritySupport, adhere to, and help maintain strong internal control policies and proceduresIdentify and drive opportunities for process improvements including the automation of key responsibilitiesProvide supporting schedules and documentation to internal and external auditorsEffectively use accounting knowledge to collaborate with varying levels of employees and management to drive sound business decisionsSupport new system implementations by participating in UAT for accounting processesDo you have the right ingredients*?
