Job Description
Duties:
Detail-oriented individual who can provide prompt, efficient and courteous customer service.
Drive sales through effective communication with customers.
Operate the cash register and process transactions efficiently.
Maintain a clean, customer friendly environment in the store.
Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to effectively assist customers.
Stock shelves and ensure that the sales floor is organized and visually appealing.
Perform all regular cleaning activities, and other tasks included in your job assignments.
Check in merchandise deliveries from vendors.
Responsibilities:
Physical requirements: the position typically requires constant standing, bending, reaching, frequent lifting of 1-5 lbs, and occasional lifting up to 40-50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail sales or as a cashier is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in cash handling and operating POS systems.
- Basic math skills to ensure accurate transaction processing.
- Familiarity with stock management and product displays is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
