Job Summary
MNC JOBS INFO is looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Store Assistant to join our team in Mumbais top malls. As a Retail Store Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring the smooth running of store operations, and promoting a positive shopping experience. Key Responsibilities
•
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their needs, offering product recommendations, and answering queries about merchandise.
•
Maintain the stores visual standards by ensuring products are properly displayed and the store is tidy and organized at all times.
•
Handle cash transactions, process payments, and operate the stores POS system accurately.
•
Manage inventory, restock shelves, and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages.
•
Assist with the setup and execution of promotional activities and sales campaigns.
•
Ensure that all merchandise is properly tagged and priced, and adhere to store policies and procedures for returns and exchanges.
•
Support management in the day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures.
•
Assist in the training and development of new team members as required.
•
Maintain a strong knowledge of current product offerings, trends, and store promotions.
• Required Skills and Qualifications
•
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail or customer service training is a plus.
•
Prior experience in retail or customer service, preferably in apparel or footwear.
•
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and approachable manner.
•
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
•
Basic math and cash handling skills.
•
Good understanding of store operations, inventory management, and sales techniques.
•
A passion for fashion and a keen interest in the apparel and footwear industry.
• Experience
•
Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in retail or customer service roles, ideally in an apparel or footwear store.
•
Experience with POS systems and cash handling.
•
Ability to work in a team and adapt to different customer service situations.

Full-time position with flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
•
Hours may vary based on mall timings and business needs.
