As we gear up for our busy season, we’re excited to offer a full-time, 40 hours per week role to join our Ponsonby store as a Retail Sales Team Member. If you’re passionate about customer service and love working in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Do you have?
DIY/Home improvement knowledge
Retail experience
Confidence in engaging and approaching customers
The ability and desire to work as part of a team
Sufficient strength and fitness for merchandising / service tasks
A positive, engaging personality focused on providing solutions for customers
A desire to learn, grow, and support your team in doing the same
A Day in the Life:
Engaging with customers to help them find products and solutions
Working with process’s, to ensure stock is accurate and accounted for
Performing light stepladder work to stow and merchandise stock
Assisting across the store as needed, in multiple departments
Carrying out general daily shop duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
Occasionally covering till service during breaks or high demand
Working a full-time 40-hour week, including one weekend day
Being an active part of a positive, dynamic, and engaging team culture
Demonstrating great timekeeping and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
