Retail & Operations Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Made Hamilton
401 Grey Street, Hamilton East, New Zealand
Employment Type: Part-Time
Working Hours:
9:30am – 5:00pm (with tea and lunch breaks)
Store is open daily (except Christmas, New Year's Day, Good Friday, and Anzac Day)
Shifts will be arranged collaboratively within the team
About the Role
We are looking for a thoughtful and reliable Retail & Operations Assistant to join our team at Made Hamilton.
This role blends in-store customer experience with behind-the-scenes operations, offering a holistic understanding of retail in a growing New Zealand brand.
You will play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming retail environment while ensuring our daily
operations run smoothly.
KeyResponsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service and support retail sales in-store
Pack and dispatch online and wholesale orders with care and accuracy
Respond to customer enquiries across online channels
Manage in-store inventory using Xero and restock according to company procedures
Issue invoices through Xero
Support accounts receivable (A/R) processes
What We’re Looking For
A genuine love for connecting with people and creating positive customer experiences
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and Word
Responsible, reliable, and punctual
A proactive mindset with willingness to learn
Nice to Have
Previous retail or customer service experience
Familiarity with Xero (or willingness to learn quickly)
