Carlo’s IGA is looking for a driven and passionate Retail Business Partner / Store Manager to take the reins of our Gilgandra store the only full-service supermarket in town and help shape its continued success.

The Opportunity

As the Store Manager of Carlo’s IGA Gilgandra, you’ll lead a passionate team, oversee day-to-day operations, and drive performance across all departments. You’ll be the face of the business, empowered to make key decisions and build your own legacy in a tight-knit regional community.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead all store operations to achieve and exceed sales, gross profit, and cost control targets
Analyse weekly KPIs and financial reports to drive performance
Maintain strong stock management and accurate pricing/ticketing
Minimise shrinkage while ensuring top-tier product availability
Coach, develop, and inspire a high-performing team
Ensure the highest standards of hygiene and food safety compliance
Build a positive, customer-focused, and compliant store culture
Conduct regular audits to maintain safety and operational excellence
What We’re Looking For
2+ years in a supermarket/retail management role
Strong leadership experience, ideally in food or FMCG sectors
Proven track record of achieving sales and operational goals
Strategic mindset with a hands-on, proactive approach
High-level communication and problem-solving skills
Passion for customer service and community engagement
Financial acumen – ability to interpret and act on business data
Availability to work weekends as part of a rotating roster
Willingness to invest in the business and become a true partner
