About the Opportunity
Are you interested in learning more about manufacturing and strengthening your resume? MacKinnon Magnetics is offering a free, self-paced career-development opportunity for Ontario residents who want to better understand the manufacturing industry, with a focus on low-voltage dry-type transformer manufacturing.
Participants will submit their current resume, receive an updated and professionally formatted version, and complete an online Transformer Manufacturing 101 training module. The program is designed to provide an accessible introduction to the industry while helping participants present their education, experience and skills more effectively to future employers.
About MacKinnon Magnetics
MacKinnon Magnetics is an Ontario-based manufacturer of low-voltage dry-type transformers ranging from 15 to 800 kVA. Engineering, production, assembly and testing are completed in-house at our Concord facility. As demand for power and electrical infrastructure continues to grow, the transformer manufacturing industry is expected to create continued opportunities for people with technical, engineering and hands-on manufacturing skills.
What Participants Will Receive
· A professionally reformatted and updated resume using a polished business-school-style format.
· Access to a self-paced online Transformer Manufacturing 101 training module.
