Restaurant Operations Manager – Chechos Sydney
Chechos is growing — and we’re looking for a driven, hands-on Operations Manager to help take us to the next level.
This is a dynamic role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced hospitality environments, enjoys building teams, pride in delivering consistently high standards across multiple venues, and LOVES a taco (or two) and margaritas!
About the Role
As an Operations Manager, you will play a key role in the expansion and performance of Chechos. You’ll be responsible for opening new stores, ensuring compliance across all venues, and supporting our restaurant managers in the day-to-day running of their locations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute new store openings from setup through to launch
Oversee daily operations across multiple venues, ensuring consistency and quality
Maintain and enforce compliance with food safety, WHS, and company standards
Support, mentor, and develop Restaurant Managers and their teams
Drive recruitment, onboarding, and team structure across all locations
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability
Be hands-on in venues when needed — leading from the front
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in a multi-site hospitality or operations role
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
Highly organised, process-driven, and solutions-focused
Experience with new store openings and scaling operations
Solid understanding of compliance, food safety, and workplace standards
A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to adapt and problem-solve quickly
