Full job description
We're seeking a restaurant manager.
Key Responsibilities
Planning menus in consultation with chefs.
Planning and organizing special functions.
Guiding the junior staff in arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to the budget.
Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions.
Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional, and of suitable appearance.
Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service.
Hiring, training, and monitoring waiting and kitchen staff and other junior staff
Ker Requirements:
Qualification or Work experience: The candidate should have either of the following:
- NZQF Diploma or equivalent or higher, OR,
- at least three years of relevant experience.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
A passion for customer service and maintaining high standards.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry.
Ability to work under pressure and manage a dynamic team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
