Job Description
HOST / RESERVATIONS
Recruiting for a professional and polished host reservations role. As the first point of contacts for our customers, this is a critical role for our establishment.

General a’Mare Requirements:
Current working visa or Australian resident
Good English verbal skills
Very good personal grooming standards
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, use common sense and work as a team player
Excellent attention to detail
Love of food and providing fantastic experiences for the customer!
Hours can vary and can include weekend and holiday work
All employees will be required to undergo a police check
Essential Requirements:
Fluent English, written and spoken
Computer literacy a must
Polite and mature personal manner, both face to face and phone
A warm and engaging smile!
Current NSW RSA Certificate
Preferred Requirements:
Minimum of one year working in fine-dining restaurants
Experience with SevenRooms or other online reservations platforms
Tasks include:
Answering phones and taking reservations using SevenRooms
Answering emails and other admin and office tasks as required
Hosting during services as required, which does include nights and weekend, including table management using SevenRooms, meeting, greeting and seating guests, initial drink orders and menu presentation, table resetting, and more.
Support tasks for the operations staff during service, as required – tasks may include such things as approaching guests to complete data cards, polishing cutlery/glassware, reprinting menus, processing vouchers, processing bills, helping staff take out or clear plates, and more.
