Position Summary:
Anaesthetic Gas Machine Competency
Technical Knowledge of Operating Room Equipment
Anaesthetic Administration Knowledge
Fluid Management/Haemodynamic Monitoring
Arterial punctures/arterial line insertion/IV Insertion
Airway Management (Intubation Certified & Airway Adjuncts)
Staff and patient education
R.T. Student education and training
Qualifications:
Must have completed the Respiratory Therapist program
Member in good standing of C.S.R.T. and R.T.S.O.
Recent Respiratory Therapy OR experience preferred
ACLS required
Knowledge of computers
Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
Ability to work various shifts as required, and on call
Positive work and attendance record essential
Willingness to upgrade skills through external education
