Job Description
Position: Reservation Specialist
Company: Echor Hotels Pvt. Ltd.
Location: Zirakpur, Punjab
Compensation: 20,000 - 25,000 (+ Incentives)
Type: Full-Time
Role Description
The Reservation Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient reservation processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling booking inquiries, managing guest reservations, and providing exceptional pre-arrival services to enhance customer satisfaction and maximize revenue.
Key Responsibilities
• Reservation Management: Handle incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms. Accurately record and process bookings in the hotel reservation system.
• Customer Service: Provide detailed information about the properties, availability, pricing, and packages. Assist guests in customizing their stay based on preferences and requirements.
• Channel Coordination: Ensure seamless integration and accurate updates of inventory across multiple online travel agencies (OTAs), direct websites, and B2B channels.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and front office teams to optimize booking operations.
• Problem Resolution: Address and resolve guest concerns, booking changes, cancellations, or complaints promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
• Reservations and Sales skills
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.
• Prior experience in reservations, customer service, or a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with Channel Managers like Hotelogix, Staah or similar software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with OTA platforms like Booking.com, Expedia, etc.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail under pressure.
