Reservation Agent

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Reservation Agent to join our team. The Reservation Agent will be responsible for handling reservations and bookings for our hotels. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Assist customers in making reservations for hotels via phone, email, or online platforms.
Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding availability, pricing, policies, and procedures.
Process reservations, modifications, and cancellations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Utilize reservation software/systems to input and manage bookings efficiently.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
Identify opportunities to upsell additional services, upgrades, or packages to customers.
Maintain detailed records of bookings and transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with team members, including other reservation agents and customer service representatives, to ensure seamless operations.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and company policies through ongoing training and development initiatives.
Adhere to company standards for compliance, including privacy regulations and data protection.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality, tourism, or related field is a plus.
Previous experience in a customer service or reservations role preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using reservation software/systems; experience with [insert specific software/system] is an advantage.
Positive attitude, team player mentality, and willingness to assist others.
