NLR Journal (ISSN: 2582-847+) is an online bi-annual journal with a Summer and Winter edition which accepts submissions on a rolling basis. We are registered with the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, Government of India and hold indexing in prominent research databases like Manupatra, Hein Online, Google Scholar ROAD. We are Digitally Available at the libraries of European Parliament, Harvard Library, Stanford Library, University of Oxford, Columbia University, London School of Economics and Political Science and others.
Our publication accepts rolling submissions and encourages interdisciplinary legal research that intersects with various disciplines and modern-day socio-political realities.
What We Publish:
We welcome original articles, case and legislative comments, and book reviews from law students, scholars, academicians, and legal professionals. Our aim is to foster legal research that is accessible, impactful, and widely disseminated.
Position Overview:
We are looking for passionate and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Research Associates. This role is ideal for students, early-career researchers, and legal professionals looking to deepen their engagement with legal academia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and edit submissions for language, structure, and citation accuracy.
- Conduct preliminary plagiarism checks and coordinate peer reviews.
- Assist in managing communication with authors and contributors.
- Contribute to the Journal’s outreach activities on social media and academic platforms.
- Engage in legal research and editorial initiatives related to upcoming issues.
Qualifications:
- Law students (3rd year onwards of 5-year course or final year of 3-year course), postgraduates, research scholars, or early-career legal professionals.
- Excellent command over legal writing and editing.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Prior experience in academic writing or editing is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to commit 6–8 hours per week.
