Job Description
International Youth Edu-Skills Foundation (IYES Foundation) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization committed to empowering youth across the globe. We work to provide young people with access to education, leadership opportunities, and global exposure through skill-building, international programs, and collaborative platforms aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Role Overview:
We are seeking dynamic and detail-oriented Research & Content Writing Interns to support our mission by identifying global youth opportunities and crafting high-impact content. The ideal candidate is passionate about youth development, research, and storytelling.
The internship will span 3 months, during which interns will gain valuable exposure to real-world projects, receive guidance from experienced mentors, and contribute directly to our ongoing initiatives.
Based on performance, selected interns may be offered long-term roles within the organization after the internship period.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct focused research on global youth opportunities, such as international programs, fellowships, scholarships, conferences, and volunteer initiatives.
Draft clear and concise descriptions of these opportunities to be shared on our website, newsletters, and community platforms.
Develop social media content (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter) to promote these opportunities and highlight youth engagement.
Support strategic research aimed at identifying potential partners, collaborators, and youth-focused networks worldwide.
Assist in the preparation of written materials for campaigns, blogs, or outreach activities.
Work closely with the content and outreach teams to ensure alignment of tone and messaging.
Requirements:
Minimum of 6 months of experience in research, content writing, or communication (academic, freelance, or internship experience accepted).
Excellent written English with strong grammar, clarity, and formatting skills.
Strong interest in global youth development, international relations, education, or social impact.
Ability to synthesize research findings into digestible and engaging content.
Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation best practices.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to meet deadlines independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in humanities, journalism, international development, education, or social sciences.
Experience working with youth organizations, NGOs, or international education platforms.
Comfortable using collaborative tools such as Google Workspace, Trello, Notion, or Canva.
