Department: Psychiatric Nursing
Wage: $21.63 per hour
Hours of Work: Approximately 5 hours per week
Start Date: September 15, 2026
Number of Positions Available: 1
Length of Appointment: to March 31, 2027

Duties:
Assist in the execution and evaluation of research projects, including literature reviews, focus groups, and data analysis.
Assist in data collection, data entry, transcription, analysis and interpretation.
Perform data/word processing, routine computations, and record keeping.
Perform routine clerical and administrative duties to support research activities.
Assist in preparing articles, publications, reports and presentations.
Assist in seeking publication opportunities for the research team.
Perform other relevant duties assigned.
Travel to assist with facilitation of focus groups is required.
Qualifications/Experience:
The ideal candidate will:
Be a graduate student or third or fourth year undergraduate student.
Have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Possess strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and be self-motivated.
Have the ability to work independently and with others effectively.
Have the ability to uphold high standards of confidentiality and research integrity.
Proficient in Microsoft Word to assist with transcription of data.
Strong overall computer skills and ability to learn new software fast.
Travel to rural communities within Manitoba with a member(s) of the research team is required. Ability for the same is essential.
