SRM Insider develops real-time tools, tailored platforms, and spaces for connection, discovery, and support, while actively encouraging innovation, leadership, and cross-domain collaboration.
Role Description The Representative role at SRM Insider Community is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. A Representative will actively engage with students to understand their needs, gather feedback, and communicate community initiatives across campus. Daily responsibilities include promoting SRM Insider tools and platforms, coordinating events or information sessions, and supporting onboarding of new community members. The Representative will collaborate with different student groups and project teams, assist in organizing activities, and share insights with the core team to help improve existing products and services. The role also involves maintaining clear communication channels, documenting interactions, and representing SRM Insider in a professional and inclusive manner.
Qualifications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse student groups and stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate within cross-functional student teams and support coordination of community initiatives and events.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks, campus activities, and outreach responsibilities.
• Comfort with using digital tools, student platforms, and basic productivity software to share updates and track engagement.
• Demonstrated interest in student advocacy, community building, innovation, or leadership within a university environment.
• Proactive, responsible, and approachable attitude, with the ability to work on-site in Chennai and commit to a full-time schedule.
• Current enrollment at SRM University or strong familiarity with SRM student life and campus ecosystem is highly beneficial.
