Role Description The Reporter role at TatvaSoft is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. This role involves researching, gathering, and verifying information on company activities, technology trends, and industry developments, and transforming these into clear, engaging news stories and reports. The Reporter will conduct interviews with internal stakeholders and external partners, attend meetings and events, and produce written and multimedia content for internal communications, corporate publications, and digital platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring relevant news sources, collaborating with marketing and communications teams, meeting tight deadlines, and ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to editorial guidelines. The Reporter is expected to maintain high ethical standards, respect confidentiality requirements, and contribute to a transparent and informed organizational culture.
Qualifications
• Strong Reporting and News Writing skills, with the ability to research, verify facts, and create clear, accurate stories.
• Excellent Writing and Communication skills, including the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences and formats.
• Experience with Multimedia content creation (e.g., basic photo, audio, or video) to support digital and internal communications.
• Ability to work under deadlines, manage multiple assignments, and maintain attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with technology or IT industry topics is an advantage.
• Proficiency with standard office and content tools (e.g., word processing, content management systems) and basic digital literacy.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical reporting, impartiality, and non-discriminatory communication.
