Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Renovation Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in renovations. You will work closely with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure that all aspects of the project meet specifications and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Execute finish carpentry tasks including installation of flooring, trim, moldings, cabinetry, and doors.
Assemble and install custom cabinetry and furniture according to specifications.
Fabricate components using various materials as required by project specifications.
Install drywall board, tape, and mud as necessary for small renovation projects.
Lay tiles accurately in designated areas, ensuring proper alignment and finish.
Collaborate with other trades such as electrical workers to ensure seamless integration of all aspects of the project.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably in finish carpentry roles.
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
Experience with tile laying is highly desirable.
Familiarity with electrical installations related to carpentry projects is beneficial.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Good physical stamina and strength; ability to lift heavy materials when necessary.
Valid BC Drivers License and reliable transportation.
