Role Description

This is a volunteer remote position for a Recruiter at Planet Watch. The Recruiter will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and engaging potential volunteers to join the organization. Tasks include developing and executing recruitment strategies, posting volunteer opportunities, managing candidate pipelines, conducting interviews, and fostering strong relationships with potential team members and partners.

The Recruiter will play a key role in building a passionate and dedicated volunteer team aligned with Planet Watch's mission.

Qualifications
• Proficiency in sourcing and recruitment strategies, including candidate outreach and engagement
• Experience in conducting interviews and evaluating candidates for fit within a volunteer organization
• Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
• Knowledge of and passion for climate issues and not-for-profit organizations
• Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage candidate pipelines efficiently
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems or recruitment tools is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is a bonus
• Previous experience in volunteer recruitment is recommended but not mandatory
