Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor student progress consistently, documenting both improvements and challenges to facilitate ongoing development.
• Collaborate effectively with general education teachers to ensure appropriate accommodations and modifications are in place.
• Conduct virtual consultations with parents and colleagues to discuss student progress and strategies for improvement.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date special education documentation and records.
• Engage in continuous professional development to refine teaching skills and expand knowledge.

Required Skills
• Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement.
• Minimum of 2 years of classroom teaching experience in special education.
• Proficiency in utilizing educational technology and virtual learning platforms.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience in developing and executing IEPs for students.
