Talascend is currently seeking a remote Senior Software Developer for a W-2 contract to possible direct hire opportunity.
OVERVIEW:
Our client is currently seeking a Software Developer to support the LEAP project. This resource will speed up software development on the large backlog of work items identified for the LEAP project.
Engaging with the DevOps system for task management involves reviewing requirements, assisting in prioritization, and participating in design and development activities. This role will focus more on conceptual tasks, including planning and design. It will require an analysis of business requirements to contribute to the development of appropriate designs and solutions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES:
• Writing and maintaining source code
• Creating and maintaining software applications and applying frameworks involved in a software release.
• Computer programming, documenting, managing configuration, testing, and bug fixing involved in creating and maintaining applications and frameworks involved in a software release life cycle and resulting in a software product.
• Works independently to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact on operational results or project deliverables.
• Responsible for entire projects or processes within a technical area.
• Develops technical solutions that require collaboration with internal experts, deep analyses and understanding of impact on end-product/solution.
• Communicates with internal and client project team members.
• Works to influence team members regarding solution design, process and/or approaches.
• Typically responsible for coaching and reviewing the work of lower level technical staff.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experience.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Expertise in one or more programming language is required.
• Hands-on development coding and configuration will be necessary.
• Requires deep understanding of and ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts of technical domain and has broad understanding of other related specialty areas.
• Experience with the following are required:
• HTML and CSS
• TypeScript and JavaScript
• React
• C# and ASP.NET Core
• Web networking (request/response payload, authentication, PKI, name resolution)
• Visual Studio or VS Code
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• MUI or similar UI library.
• T-SQL or PL/SQL.
• NoSQL such as MongoDB or LiteDB.
• PowerShell.
• SDLC system/process such as Azure DevOps.
• OAuth/OIDC.
• SalesForce API development.
• SharePoint modern client development.
