Job Description
Join Blue Mantis as a Remote Network Engineer, overseeing network reliability and security in complex environments. This role requires skills in networking technologies and proactive troubleshooting efforts. Blue Mantis seeks an experienced Network Engineer with at least 3-5 years of experience in enterprise networks.
You will maintain and optimize a diverse range of technologies, including Cisco switches and Palo Alto firewalls. Your expertise in incident response and documentation will enhance overall network performance and support. Key Responsibilities:
• Resolve network incidents to minimize operational disruptions
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
• Monitor network health and apply necessary firmware updates
• Maintain detailed documentation including SOPs and technical diagrams
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders during incidents Requirements:
• 3-5 years of network engineering experience
• Proficiency with Cisco and Nexus switches
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls
• Familiarity with F5 load balancers and monitoring tools
