As a Remote Healthcare Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be the critical link between raw medical documentation and the structured data that powers analytics, billing, and patient care decisions. Key Responsibilities Process a variety of medical documents—including Independent Medical Reviews, physician notes, and insurance claim forms—ensuring each piece of information is captured accurately. Extract relevant data points and enter them into the designated electronic database using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, or proprietary arenaflex platforms. Collaborate with fellow coordinators and supervisors to resolve data ambiguities, verify source documents, and maintain consistency across all entries. Apply critical‑thinking techniques to identify missing information, formulate follow‑up questions, and contact clients or healthcare providers via phone or secure messaging to obtain necessary clarifications. Maintain a high level of productivity while adhering to established metrics, quotas, and turnaround‑time targets. Provide courteous, professional customer service when interacting with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring a positive experience throughout the data‑entry lifecycle. Document all communications, decisions, and data‑validation steps in accordance with arenaflex’s quality‑control standards. Essential Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of remote work experience , demonstrating the ability to stay focused, organized, and productive in a home‑based environment. High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in medical coding, health information management, or related fields are a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data validation) and Word.
