Job Title: Remote Part-Time Customer Service Representative
Job Summary: American Airlines is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Remote Part-Time Customer Service Representatives. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to passengers, assisting with reservations, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues to ensure a positive travel experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat channels
• Assist passengers with flight reservations, changes, and cancellations
• Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally and efficiently
• Provide accurate information regarding flight schedules, fares, policies, and procedures
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and resolution of issues
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of airline regulations and industry trends
• Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with diverse customers
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in computer systems and familiarity with reservation software (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus)
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
• Experience:
• Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
• Working Hours:
• Part-time position with flexible scheduling options
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Knowledge of airline industry regulations and practices is a plus
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work effectively in a remote environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
