About the role:
The primary purpose of this position is to assist our permanent Supervisors and Cleaning Manager with the supervision, training and compliance of the cleaning department while monitoring the cleanliness and presentation of the venue.
Duties could include:
Ensure the daily cleaning requirements are delivered safely, efficiently and consistently whilst meeting Company specifications, compliance, safety and and food safety hygiene standards
Organise, supervise and oversee the cleaning staff on various shifts to ensure compliance with work schedule
Proactively contributing to the hands-on day to day workload of the small team
Taking sick calls and arranging for shift covers
Supervising and training staff all requirements of the their roles, safe equipment and chemical usage
Coordinating and scheduling activities on the site to attain the best possible efficiency, ensuring all work performed attains or exceeds standards set by the company
Ensuring immaculate presentation of venue, cleaning common areas, picking up all glasses, cleaning toilets, emptying ash trays, emptying bins, vacuuming and mopping etc.
Our Perfect Fit:
Will be an experienced cleaner who is able to cope with the duties of the role which will require you to repeatedly lift, bend, crouch, kneel, push, pull, sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
This role best suits someone who enjoys working as part of a team, is able to multi task, problem solve and has strong attention to detail.
What do you need to be considered?
Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader position (preferred)
Highly organised and resourceful
Have a good eye for detail
Strong communication skills verbal and written
Must have current RSA Competency Card
An understanding of roster processes
Demonstrated conflict resolution experience
Sound computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet)
Ability to work a 24/7 roster with a variety of shifts including; mornings, afternoons, nights, over nights, weekends and public holidays
