Job Description
FAIRLANE COLONY SCHOOL- Fairlane Colony School is located east of Wretham (from the junction of highways 36 and 61, 16 km east on highway 61, 6.5 km south on Range Rd 150, 1.6 km west on Twp Rd 62).
Regular Colony Educational Assistant – approx. 27 hours/week
Assignment - Monday – Thursday 8:50 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. & Fridays 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Ideally, candidates will:
be prepared to always demonstrate respect for Hutterite culture, traditions, and beliefs.
have a positive attitude about children, learning, and schools.
have a critical role in instruction under the supervision of the teacher.
be a timely communicator and open to ongoing collaborative feedback
work in an environment with limited technology
be able to work well independently, with the teacher and the school learning team
provide support to students on a 1:1 basis or with small group instruction
support English as an Additional Language Learners in language acquisition
