Responsibilities
We provide vascular access device insertion services, post access support services including declotting, line removal, port access and venous access troubleshooting
VTP also provides continuing education, precepting and other educational support to clinical team members and customers
As a Vascular Access Nurse Consultant, you will work collaboratively with our customer's clinical team to resolve venous access issues to facilitate the treatment objectives of the treating physician
You may work inside or outside the hospital setting depending on each individual referral, providing you with a unique career opportunity to observe different treatment protocols and patient challenges

As a VTP Vascular Access Nurse Consultant you will:
Place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance
Utilize ECG technology for PICC tip confirmation
Assist with management of PICCs and Vascular Access devices
Provide a wide range of vascular access support services including but not limited to port access, removal of lines, declotting, etc
Educate facility nursing staff regarding PICCs, midlines and many other CVAD's
In this role, Consultants visit patients in different customer facilities and therefore must be willing to travel to customer facilities and able to fulfill scheduling requirements as indicated based on business needs
We are currently seeking nurses interested in evening/night coverage, with available schedules including 12PM-12AM or 2 PM–2 AM shifts
Full-time scheduling requirements include three to four days per week, including weekends, and participation in the holiday rotation
Part-time (Per Diem) scheduling requirements include a minimum of 4 scheduled shifts per month, including weekends, and participation in the holiday rotation
