Employment Type: Permanent – 0.8 FTE
He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
Te Whatu Ora Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty are looking for a Registered Nurse for a Public Health nursing position. This is a permanent 0.8 FTE position, working 64 hours per fortnight based at Whakatāne Hospital.
The role offers a degree of autonomy, amazing job satisfaction and team support. You will work with school age children, their families and whānau in the community to address a wide range of health and social issues.
A good understanding of the issues facing children will be an advantage. This position will also support the school-based Immunisation Team so knowledge of immunisations and an Authorised Vaccinator Certificate will be an advantage. You will need to overcome challenges and cope with the unexpected.
