Registered Nurse – Nursery/Post-Partum - Nights
Position Highlights:
Position: Registered Nurse – Nursery and Post-Partum
Location: Highland Park, IL
Full Time/Part Time: Full time, 36 hours per week
Hours: 1900
-0730, with weekend rotation
On Call: per unit requirements
Required Travel: Float to Post-Partum Evanston Hospital
What you will do:
Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the Pediatric Unit
Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
What you will need:
Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required
License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
Experience: 1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year nursery/post-partum experience preferred
Unique or Preferred Skills: Nursery/post-partum experience
