About the Job:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team and help enhance the well-being of our residents. As a Registered Nurse at Anglicare Sydney, you will play a crucial role in promoting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents, while ensuring their health needs are met in accordance with care plans.
About You:
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
Previous experience in aged care or similar healthcare settings (desirable)
Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage complex care needs
A genuine passion for working with older adults and enhancing their quality of life
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
Understanding of the importance of maintaining residents' dignity and independence
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical care to residents, ensuring their health needs are met in accordance with care plans
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
Develop, implement, and evaluate individual care plans in collaboration with the care team
Provide emotional support and build strong, trusting relationships with residents and their families
